On June 4, 2009 the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Bridge Association (MBA) met at the Vicksburg Convention Center. Gloria Holcomb called the meeting to order. No changes or additions were made to the January meeting minutes and they were accepted as presented.

James Middleton was unable to attend. The Treasurer’s report was unavailable but will be included with the minutes. James Tullos reported that the Champions Game was held on May 16, with thirteen out of sixteen honorees attending. The cost to MBA is about $500.00.

Old business being completed: The floor was open for nominations for President. Gloria Holcomb was nominated to serve a second term as President. Nominations were closed and Gloria was elected.

Gloria opened the floor for any new business. The next general membership meeting will be at the Tupelo Sectional in August, 2010.

The next Board meeting will be on as needed bases, Board members will be notified. All new business concluded the meeting was adjourned.
